BIOGRAPHY
David was 10 years old when his father passed away and he only had a few precious family photographs to cherish. This experience sparked an interest in photography and his passion for capturing special moments in life. During a family vacation, his aunt gifted him his first camera, a 126 camera with 1/20 exposure film. With limited clicks available, David was mindful to take the best possible photos. The images turned out great, fueling his enthusiasm for photography.
Recognising his growing passion, David's cousin gifted him another camera this time a Nikon F, which he still treasures as part of his photography journey. This passion eventually became his career and he worked hard and became a lab technician. He refined his skills in colour, print development, and density. This experience built his confidence and sparked an interest in various photography avenues where he transitioned into wedding photography, specialising in cultural weddings due to his love for working with people.
As a freelancer, he enjoys capturing photos during travels, as well as portraits, events, fashion shows, and nature. With over 35 years of industry experience, David has been published in the press and media and is proud that he followed his passion which led him to share his creativity and bring joy to those around him through the art of photography.
