BIOGRAPHY

Shahbaz Majeed was born and raised in Dundee, Scotland and has been taking pictures for over a decade. He began taking photos as a hobby and capturing some of the sights he was visiting, in Scotland and Dundee where he is from. This passion for photography grew and, so did his skills and experience through trial and error he was constantly learning his creative practice.    

Over the years he has won numerous competitions and awards for his work - at local, national and international levels in some of the biggest photography competitions, attracting entries in the hundreds of thousands. His images have graced magazines, brochures, billboards, foyers, walls, buses and even currency on two separate occasions.

Shahbaz's work has been featured in many articles in the international media and, he's made an appearance on the BBC Landward show in April 2021, talking about his creative work. He now appears as a presenter taking the viewers on a journey to his favourite locations. Some of his clients include prestigious brands such as the V&A, Visit Scotland and Microsoft.

Shahbaz’s belief is that we as photographers have an important job not just to document our surroundings but to share our work to promote the beauty of the World to others. By sharing our knowledge with others, not just to inspire future generations of photographers but to push the boundaries and quality of our work, we will inevitably raise the game for the better.
