BIOGRAPHY

Born in North Yorkshire, England and from an Indian Sikh family. She was surrounded by creativity from her siblings and being a third-generation designer/maker. Radha began her career working in business and higher education until she followed her heart and went to specialist design college to study her passion, fashion and design. After graduating, she created a platform to share her work and embrace the three elements in her life that helped inspire and shape her imagination - fashion, art and music.

Radha Singh, the Founder and Creative Director of THE HOUSE OF RADHA. British Designer and Artist who specialises in ‘narrative art’ to evoke emotions and ignite imaginations, making the individual feel strong, empowered and part of a creative journey. She launched the fashion art, and music brand in 2017 that is globally known for the creation of luxury fashion collections with a strong focus on sustainability, British design and manufacturing that has been seen on runways at London and Paris fashion weeks as well as international events.  

Music is the sound of the soul, and the ‘HOUSE’ in the brand name embraces the connection between a fashion house and house music. Supporting DJs and producers from the music industry promoting their profiles, and collaborating on live events and projects. Radha created an award-winning learning and development platform and in 2024, launched THE CREATIVE INDUSTRIES MASTERCLASS PROGRAMME taught by diverse, multicultural Industry Masters from around the globe to empower and build the confidence and employability skills of the next generation of Students, Creative Artists, Entrepreneurs and Professionals.

THE HOUSE OF RADHA is now a multi-award winning and nominated brand, and through her journey she became a member of the Parliamentary Society of the Art, Fashion and Sports, British Fashion Council and Fashion Academics Creating Equality. Recently Radha was awarded and became part of the Northern Power Women Awards 2024, a Power list of 30 women selected from 1400 who are known as change makers and working hard to address equality and inclusion in business and the industry sector they are from.
