BIOGRAPHY

Mohan is a Creative Director with over 30 years of experience in the Animation and Creative Industry. He developed his passion for the creative sector through his educational path and, was inspired by movies and comic books as he developed his design work and knowledge that encouraged him to embrace a career in Animation. He began his professional career at Burbank Animation Studios in Sydney as an animator because he was infatuated with design and illustration and became a Animation Director within Two years.

He later relocated back to Singapore to start his own company called Animata Productions, where he produced award-winning TV commercials and directed content for Cartoon Network.  Through his journey Mohan partnered with Toonz Animation India as their Creative Director in Kerala India and produced TV serials and award-winning shorts, such as The Stone Crusher and the long-running series Lucky Fred becoming their Chief Developer.  In 2007, Mohan created and directed a Preschool TV Series called “Patch Pillows” in partnership with Global Digital Corporation in China based on his idea about friendship and good values. The 58-episode serial is now been distributed by Cyber Group of France. Mohan directed the TV series Uma and Devan currently showing on Amazon Prime and Netflix and continuted to work with UK and International clients that include Cartoon Network, Disney, Telegael,Toonz Media Group, Home Plate Entertainment, Caribara Studio, Nick Indian, and MTV.

Mohan has a strong working knowledge of the production pipeline for both 2D & 3D animation. He also has extensive knowledge of each phase of production (Script, Pre-through to Post-Production).  His designs are always created to be of the highest quality, which is one of the reasons he has been given so many awards.
