COMPETITION PROJECT

 

The Competition Project provides an overview of the standards and practices employed in the creative sector. You will learn from an Industry Master through lectures and gain valuable insights into industry trends, developments, and career opportunities. You will also receive a project brief to guide you in applying your knowledge practically.  You will be introduced to a healthy competition experience that will help develop your employability skills and how to compete with others in the chosen specialism.

 

After completing the project, you will present your work to the Industry Master. The presentation can take various forms, including visual, written, or oral, depending on your subject area. Constructive feedback will be given to help you with your personal and professional development.

  • The sessions are conducted by an Industry Master who will share their knowledge and experience regarding the standards and practices used in the creative industries. They will support your learning, helping you become more confident and motivated to develop new skills and a deeper understanding of the theatre and performing arts sector. You will have the opportunity to explore various topics, including acting, contemporary and classical performance on stage and screen, musical theatre, dance and choreography, as well as media and digital skills.

     

    You will delve into different aspects of the creative process, from devising individual performances to directing and producing collaborative work. You will also learn about modern practices while building your professional profile and enhancing your employability skills, which are essential for working in or aspiring to be a part of the Industry Sector.
