NEXT-GEN PROJECT GROUP SESSION
 
The Next-Gen Project Pitch session will be led by an Industry Master, who will share their knowledge and expertise on the standards and practices prevalent in the Creative Industries. This session simulates the pitching process and teaches how to secure investment, funding, and support from external investors and funding bodies. Participants will gain insight into the business process, helping students and direct learners understand the importance of creating a business strategy and a compelling presentation deck to present to professionals.
 
Students will have the opportunity to pitch in order to secure mock investments, either as part of a group or as individuals. The Industry Master will emphasise the significance of having a transparent business model. Additionally, they will explain why a solid understanding of data and financial statistics is crucial for demonstrating a business's viability for investment. Following the presentations, the Industry Master will ask relevant questions and provide constructive feedback aimed at enhancing employability skills, motivation, confidence, and personal and professional development.
