APPLICATION PROCESS AND HOW TO APPLY

THE HOUSE OF RADHA welcomes everyone in the application process. We are determined to ensure that no applicant or person feels discriminated against or less favoured. We recognise the importance of diversity within our teams and are fully committed to embracing the talent and creativity of each individual. If you are coming through an educational institution or direct learning pathway we will want you to have a minimum foundation level of education or equalivalent industry experience.

EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION PATHWAY

Please contact us by email at contact@thehouseofradha.co.uk providing us with details of what sessions you are interested in through The Creative Industries Masterclass Programme (TCIMCP). We will then contact you to arrange a video call with our team to discuss the requirements.

We ask that you apply six weeks in advance of when you want your learners to start due to securing a place with the Industry experts. If we receive your application or enquiry later then we will give you the option of the next intake, however, you will be informed by our team.  All our sessions are subject to a fee and agreement to access the live sessions.

DIRECT LEARNING PATHWAY

The application process is super quick and easy. All you have to do is contact us by email on contact@thehouseofradha.co.uk and we will send out an application form. Once we have received the completed form and any additional documents then you will be contacted by the team with a decision. It will take us up to 14 days  to consider your application. After your application has been approved, you’ll be sent an email with your confirmation of a provisional place on the chosen sessions and then to complete the process you will need to make the programme fee payment to confirm your place with us.

HOW WE ASSESS YOUR APPLICATION

We will take your whole application into account before we accept you on The Creative Industries Masterclass Programme (TCIMCP) and alongside your application we would like to see your supporting qualifications. This helps us view your current skills, and skills that you are looking to acquire from the programme.

OUR ASSESSMENT PROCESS INCLUDES:

- Whether your qualifications meet our entry requirements
- Subject-specific abilities, personal, professional and experience
- A Creative portfolio of work if applying for a creative role
- Short remote interview with our employability team

We create an action plan that will also include areas that you want to develop through the experience that would help you acquire the employability skills for the career path you are interested in taking.  You will be sent an invoice with your session details on and where to make the payment to. You must be 18+ years or over to be eligible to participate in the live sessions through our direct learning platform or be eligible through one of our educational partners.

EQUALITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSIVITY

THE HOUSE OF RADHA embraces Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity throughout the brand ethos and teams. It is a place to share experiences and enjoy the connection between us all. To have no barriers and help one another grow as a community that encourages individuality and inspire one another.  Each individual member is unique and the driving force in everything that we stand for.  The Creative Industries Masterclass Programme (TCIMCP) demonstrates the oneness of our collective and how we encourage all our learners to be the best version of themselves, and to embrace individuality.

Our Industry experts and masters come from different cultures, backgrounds and based across the world that make up our creative community and team.  We are passionate in making a difference to the lives of the next generation and learners that embrace their creativity. This experience will provide you with an outlook that draws on diverse multicultural perspectives and enriches your creative and learning journey. Through our sessions we encourage all our students to demonstrate their understanding of (EDI).  Our sessions will all cover the importance of EDI from designing for different shapes and sizes of the human body for a true representation, explore skin tones and identities.

RESOURCES AND SUPPORT

Our sessions are a blend of remote and in person teaching, so a good internet signal is a necessity and access to a laptop or desktop as this will not be supplied. The course material created by the industry leaders will include: written content, project briefs and other document formats.  It would be favoured if learners had some ability in market research, critical analysis and have good overall comprehensive ability with reading academic journals, computer literacy and an understanding of the industry they are exploring a career in.

If you are going to be working through our creative sessions then you will need to have access to using the Adobe CC such as illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign and any 3D programmes if doing product design development.  Microsoft office is also the software that will be used throughout this experience and other packages to help you through the learning and development sessions that you will be informed about through the process.
