Many aspiring entrepreneurs dream of delivering a compelling presentation that secures investment, much like the memorable pitches seen on Dragon’s Den. Reaching that level of confidence and professionalism takes preparation, refinement, and, above all, practice.
The Live Next Gen Project Pitch has been designed to replicate the experience of presenting ideas in a real-world business environment. Guided by our Industry Masters, you will develop the skills needed to communicate your ideas with clarity, confidence, and impact. Through expert coaching, constructive feedback, and practical experience, you will learn how to structure a persuasive pitch, engage your audience, and present your project with professionalism and confidence.
NEXT-GEN PROJECT
The Next Gen Project Pitch session is introduced by the Industry Master, who will share their knowledge and expertise of the standards and practices used in the Creative Industries. The session imitates the pitching process and how to gain investment, funding and support from external investors and funding bodies.
The session will provide insight into the business process to help Students and Direct learners understand the importance of creating a business strategy and robust presentation deck to present to professionals. Students and Direct learners will pitch to secure mock investment and do this as part of a group or an individual experience. The Industry Master will teach the importance of having a transparent business model and why a good grasp of data and financial statistics shows why a business is viable for investment.
The Industry Master will ask relevant questions after the presentation, and they will provide constructive feedback that supports employability skills development, motivation, confidence and personal and professional development.
